What to Expect

Our webinars aren't polished presentations. Think of them more like office hours where you can see how budgeting actually gets done. We share screens, walk through spreadsheets, and answer questions as they come up.

Each session focuses on one specific topic. You'll leave with a framework you can start using immediately, not a list of vague principles. And if something doesn't make sense, just speak up. We'd rather spend extra time clarifying than rush through material.

Sessions are recorded and available for two weeks afterwards, so don't worry if you need to step away or want to review something later.

What Past Participants Say

Portrait of Fintan McBride

The session on irregular income was exactly what I needed. I'd been stressed about budgeting for months, but the variable envelope method they showed made everything click.

I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me software or services. Just straightforward budgeting advice that I could implement using tools I already had.

Topics We Cover

We rotate through different subjects based on participant requests. Here's a sample of what we've explored in recent months.

Cash Flow Management

Understanding when money comes in and goes out. We look at timing mismatches and strategies for smoothing irregular patterns.

Category Optimization

Finding the right balance between too many categories and too few. We'll show examples of setups that actually get used versus ones that get abandoned.

Automated Transfers

Setting up your accounts so savings happen without decision fatigue. We walk through typical bank interfaces and common automation pitfalls.

Budget Review Process

Monthly check-ins that take 20 minutes instead of three hours. We share templates and checklists that make reviews less tedious.
